Nha Trang Weather Forecast

Nha Trang offers a variety of water sports activities depending on the weather conditions. Scuba diving is best enjoyed during calm winds and minimal wave activity, while kitesurfing, wave surfing, and bodyboarding thrive in windy and wavy conditions.

Scuba Diving

The scuba diving season in Nha Trang typically runs from March to early October. The optimal diving spots, Madonna Rock and Hon Noc (Electric Noise), are generally accessible from mid-March to mid-September.

Surfing and Bodyboarding

Hon Chong break and Bai Dai beach are popular destinations for surfing and bodyboarding. Bai Dai beach is a shorebreak with ample space and waves to choose from. It is surfable on most days of the season, except during peak days when waves exceed 3 meters in height. Hon Chong offers a good left-hand reef break during larger swells but can be relatively flat on smaller days. Hon Chong break is more suitable for advanced surfers, while the shorebreak at Hon Chong is an excellent location for beginner to intermediate level bodyboarding.

Kite Surfing and Sail Sports

Kite surfing and sail sports are possible year-round on windy days. Southern winds, although generally weaker than northern winds, are still ideal for those learning to kite surf.
